    This course introduces students to the creative process of research, innovation, and cross-disciplinary teamwork to address specific, real-world problems.

    You’ll learn techniques that foster innovation, generate ideas, test models, and quickly get to solutions.

    The course is offered in multiple sections each semester. Each section tackles a different problem with a different company or organization as the partner.

    Recommended for all majors and class years. The more variety the better, as the emphasis is on cross-disciplinary problem-solving that brings skills, knowledge and expertise from different disciplines to bear on the same problem.
